Home managers
Haven Lodge – Marcus Ram
I am a dedicated social care professional with a decade of experience supporting children and young people with complex needs. My expertise lies in working therapeutically with those facing emotional and behavioural challenges, including young people affected by autism, child sexual exploitation (CSE), and those involved in criminal behaviours.
Grounded in a solution-focused and child-centred approach, I am committed to empowering young people by fostering resilience and promoting positive change. I have successfully implemented peer mentoring programs and excel in placement matching, ensuring that vulnerable young people receive the most suitable and supportive environments to thrive.
My passion for working with individuals with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs has driven me to develop holistic intervention strategies tailored to each young person’s unique strengths and challenges. I collaborate effectively with multi-agency partners, ensuring a coordinated and safeguarding-focused approach to meeting their needs.
With a strong belief in the power of therapeutic support and early intervention, I bring a compassionate and proactive mindset to every aspect of my work, making a meaningful impact on both individual lives and wider service provision.
For Me being a Registered Manager of a therapeutic home is to be the steady, guiding force in a young person’s journey—creating a space where they feel safe, valued, and understood. It means leading with compassion, fostering growth, and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to heal and build a brighter future.”
